I was able to talk to Mom, and figured out a good schedule so I could talk to my siblings and see how they're doing! After speaking with Mom, I opened my Book of Mormon/Livro de Mórmon side by side, and started reading as usual. I first read the chapter out loud in English, listen to it in Portuguese, then read it out loud in Portuguese. I started to read out loud in English and I started choking up, because I felt the Spirit so strongly. Of course the chapter I was reading was 1 Nephi 16. This is the chapter where the Liahona is discovered, Nephi breaks his bow, Ishmael dies, contention arises, and the Lord intervenes. Our instructor who usualmente takes us out wasn't there, so we had to take our excursion in the smack dab middle of the Pday time (13:00-17:00) we went at 2:30. That meant I barley had time to talk who I wanted to before I headed out to the Field on Wednesday (did I spell it correctly Garrett?) So sorry about that, I love and miss you all but I promise I am alive and well. (Knock on wood bc I write these sections as they come haha) Anyways, got my açai so I was feliz. SATURDAY Contract day!  During class, my district 'signed' a contract stating that we are only allowed to speak Portuguese to the best of our ability throughout each day! It's very difficult with a limited vocabulary, but we learn new words every day! SUNDAY Here in Brazil they fast from Lunch on Saturday to Lunch on Sunday! It's very different, going to bed "com fome", but it definitely helps to complete a full 24 hour fast! I had a lot to fast for, so I was grateful for the oportunidade!  MONDAY Just normal classes and stuff, just 100% in Portuguese  My companions and I made a fun video on Facebook about what we believe...
