Another week flies by! I hope y'all are doing well!

PENSAMENTO ESPIRITUAL

D&C 58 is an amazing section and I invite y'all to read it!

Here's a part of it:

D&C 58:3-6

"3 Ye cannot behold with your natural eyes, for the present time, the design of your God concerning those things which shall come hereafter, and the glory which shall follow after much tribulation. 
4 For after much tribulation come the blessings. Wherefore the day cometh that ye shall be crowned with much glory; the hour is not yet, but is nigh at hand. 
5 Remember this, which I tell you before, that you may lay it to heart, and receive that which is to follow. 
6 Behold, verily I say unto you, for this cause I have sent you—that you might be obedient, and that your hearts might be prepared to bear testimony of the things which are to come;"

My week was great! Transfers are tomorrow, I'll be sticking around here in Ferreira as a district leader, and I'll "kill" my next companion, Elder Hamann!
We gonna do so much good work here and I'm pumped for this transfer!!

I first read the chapter out loud in English, listen to it in Portuguese, then read it out loud in Portuguese. This is the chapter where the Liahona is discovered, Nephi breaks his bow, Ishmael dies, contention arises, and the Lord intervenes. Whats up yalll!! So sorry for not sending an email last week, só much going on!! Maria Eduarda got baptized and we are so happy for her!! Otávio will be baptized this Sunday and he's super hyped!! Today we had the opportunity to hear from Elder Gary E. Stevenson, he spoke to only our mission! Including him, 5 General Authorities were there! He spoke on Being a Lifelong Disciple of Jesus Christ!! Using these three things:: 1. Prayer. Constant, Daily prayer 2. Reading the Scriptures, Daily 2. Holding a Current temple recommend and going to the Temple as often as your circumstances permit I invite you to do what Elder Stevenson told us to do!! Love you guys so much!!

Happy Mother's Day to all who bear the sacred title of Mother!! Especially to my wonderful Mother, who I love so dearly!!
