Oaks's must recent General Conference talk, "Following Christ": "The commandments of God provide the guiding and steadying force in our lives. Our experiences in mortality are like the little boy and his father flying a kite on a windy day. As the kite rose higher, the winds caused it to tug on the connecting string in the little boy’s hand. Inexperienced with the force of mortal winds, he proposed to cut the string so the kite could rise higher. His wise father counseled no, explaining that the string is what holds the kite in place against mortal winds. If we lose our hold on the string, the kite will not rise higher. Hey everyone!! I hope you had the best week ever, full of daily miracles and blessings!! Let's get into the week! PENSAMENTO ESPIRITUAL  Alma 29:8-9 8 For behold, the Lord doth grant unto all nations, of their own nation and tongue, to teach his word, yea, in wisdom, all that he seeth fit that they should have; therefore we see that the Lord doth counsel in wisdom, according to that which is just and true.  9 I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. Hey guys what's up sorry this emails not gonna be like the rest, I'll get back to it next week but things change so quickly and so randomly it's impossible to know how each day is gonna go. Everyday we wake up at the same time and go to bed at the same time but every day is spectacularly different. Some days fly by, and others drag. But every day my testimony grows. President Heber C. Kimball once said: "Let me say to you, that many of you will see the time when you will have all the trouble, trial and persecution that you can stand, and plenty of opportunities to show that you are true to God and His work.” Heber continued: “To meet the difficulties that are coming, it will be necessary for you to have a knowledge of the truth of this work for yourselves.
