I invite you to read, listen to, or watch President Nelson's most recent conference talk! We've been teaching a couple people about prophets, and what better way to get to know our loving Prophet than to hear his words!! I invite you to take part in his challenges and really pay attention to his blessings.

WEEK RECAP
- Pday was fun, we did lots of fun challenges and minute to win it games! I won at Limbo!
- Tons of really spiritual lessons this week focusing on the Restoration! We've been looking back at old records of people who have ordered a Book of Mormon, but never got it! We had a ton of success finding people who were truly interested!!
- MIRACLE!! We wenr to this guy Iago's house to give him a Book of Mormon he ordered months ago. We knocked on his door, and turns out, it was his BIRTHDAY!! He thought it was the coolest present ever and he told us that he would love a visit from us sometime! He even put on his Whatsapp "story" pictures of his presents and the Book of Mormon was the first one he showed!!
- In our first lesson with our friend Kennedy, we felt prompted to give him a baptismal date!! He accepted to prepare for that goal!! Please pray for Kennedy!

Pretty much it y’all, all the rest is just work and finding and that's boring for yall. Say bye to Elder Gardner!! He's headed to Cotia! I'm gonna miss the guy, he was so nice and funny. 

I get my son tomorrow! If any of you returned missionaries could give me any tips on training, I'd love to hear them!!

I was able to talk to Mom, and figured out a good schedule so I could talk to my siblings and see how they're doing! After speaking with Mom, I opened my Book of Mormon/Livro de Mórmon side by side, and started reading as usual. I first read the chapter out loud in English, listen to it in Portuguese, then read it out loud in Portuguese. I started to read out loud in English and I started choking up, because I felt the Spirit so strongly. Of course the chapter I was reading was 1 Nephi 16. This is the chapter where the Liahona is discovered, Nephi breaks his bow, Ishmael dies, contention arises, and the Lord intervenes. Whats up yalll!! So sorry for not sending an email last week, só much going on!! Maria Eduarda got baptized and we are so happy for her!! Otávio will be baptized this Sunday and he's super hyped!! Today we had the opportunity to hear from Elder Gary E. Stevenson, he spoke to only our mission! Including him, 5 General Authorities were there! He spoke on Being a Lifelong Disciple of Jesus Christ!! Using these three things:: 1. Prayer. Constant, Daily prayer 2. Reading the Scriptures, Daily 2. Holding a Current temple recommend and going to the Temple as often as your circumstances permit I invite you to do what Elder Stevenson told us to do!! Love you guys so much!!

Happy Mother's Day to all who bear the sacred title of Mother!! Especially to my wonderful Mother, who I love so dearly!!
