PENSAMENTO ESPIRITUAL!
Now one of my favorite talks/speeches of all time, I invite you all to take some time to listen and study this talk! Its a bit long but that's a bad excuse to not read hahah.

WEEK RECAP
- Tuesday was the devotional with Elder Stevenson! I talked about it a bit in my other e-mail, but it was so incredible! One of his invitations I will be taking to heart: Study the Book of Mormon and Preach my Gospel every day, make it a habit!
- Thursday was Conselho de Zona and I love everything they talked about! Studied the talk "Be 100% Responsible" and we are implementando a calendar based baptismal invitations, which work really really well!!
- Friday we went to the Visitors Center with José Rodrigo, and old Catholic guy (light work) and he loved it! Asking a ton of good questions about baptism!! Água
- Sunday we had a couple people at church and Otávio got baptized!! We are so happy for him and are preparing him to get the Priesthood and go to the Temple!!
- Monday all of our compromissos fell through so my son got a lot of good practice contacting for about 6 hours!

I was able to talk to Mom, and figured out a good schedule so I could talk to my siblings and see how they're doing! After speaking with Mom, I opened my Book of Mormon/Livro de Mórmon side by side, and started reading as usual. I first read the chapter out loud in English, listen to it in Portuguese, then read it out loud in Portuguese. I started to read out loud in English and I started choking up, because I felt the Spirit so strongly. Of course the chapter I was reading was 1 Nephi 16. This is the chapter where the Liahona is discovered, Nephi breaks his bow, Ishmael dies, contention arises, and the Lord intervenes. I Forgot What Week It Is, And I Don't Have Time To Look Lol

Whats up yalll!! So sorry for not sending an email last week, só much going on!! Maria Eduarda got baptized and we are so happy for her!! Otávio will be baptized this Sunday and he's super hyped!! Today we had the opportunity to hear from Elder Gary E. Stevenson, he spoke to only our mission! Including him, 5 General Authorities were there! He spoke on Being a Lifelong Disciple of Jesus Christ!! Using these three things:: 1. Prayer. Constant, Daily prayer 2. Reading the Scriptures, Daily 2. Holding a Current temple recommend and going to the Temple as often as your circumstances permit I invite you to do what Elder Stevenson told us to do!! Love you guys so much!!

Happy Mother's Day to all who bear the sacred title of Mother!! Especially to my wonderful Mother, who I love so dearly!! PENSAMENTO ESPIRITUAL  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mother dear, I love you so.  Your happy, smiling face  Is such a joy to look at;  It makes home a lovely place.
