What an incredible Conference Weekend for the world, let me know what the Spirit taught you! What did you take away from this conference?

I LOVED the Theme of Conference: 

Preparation for the Second Coming

So now the two questions are:

How can we prepare for the Second Coming?

When can we prepare for the Second Coming?

President Nelson was pretty direct with the answer to the second question:

"AGORA MESMO" (RIGHT NOW). Don't start today, start NOW. He is returning, and returning VERY soon.

Now, the second question. How?

We were spiritually fed by ALL of the speakers, and I would like to share a few quotes that relate to this question!

"To be disciples of the Lord, we must intentionally imitate His thoughts and actions every day—for example, His obedience, humility, and patience. Compassion is that portion of charity that seeks to alleviate all suffering. Discipleship of Jesus Christ is a path filled with intentional, purposeful acts of love toward others.” Elder Strong

"Our love for God and His children is a powerful witness to the world that this is truly the Savior’s Church.” Elder Uchtdorf

“I testify that while God cares about our mistakes, He cares more about what happens after we make a mistake. Will we turn to Him again and again? Will we remain in this covenant relationship?" Sister Runia 

"As you bind up the wounds of those in need, the power of the Lord will sustain them. His arms will be outstretched with yours to succor and bless our Heavenly Father’s children. Every covenant-keeping servant of Jesus Christ will receive His Spirit-directed guidance as they bless and serve others for Him. Then they will feel the Savior’s love and find joy in being drawn closer to Him.” Pres. Eyring

"When I speak of having confidence before God, I am referring to having confidence in approaching God right now. Two years ago, I called us, as covenant followers of Jesus Christ, to be peacemakers. I thank those who took my previous counsel to heart. But we can still do better. As we come to our Heavenly Father with increasing confidence, we will be filled with greater joy, and our faith in Jesus Christ will increase. We will begin to experience spiritual power that exceeds our greatest expectations.”  Pres. Nelson

President Nelson also made an emphasis using the scripture 

D&C 121:45

about how Charity and Virture help us build confidence in the Lord. 

I would like to leave you guys with the same invitation that President Nelson left us with: 

"I invite you to take intentional steps to grow in your confidence before the Lord.”

WEEK RECAP

the week was spent running around inviting TODO MUNDO to watch General Conference. Current investigators, people who are interested, people who have been taught in the past, recent converts, TODO MUNDO!!

Had an awesome division with Elder Hahn, my Zone Leader! He's from Paraguay so we had a fun time speaking Spanish! Man Spanish is tough after learning Portuguese.

In Portuguese the letter "R" makes an english "H" sound, and "J" is normal. But Spanish "R" has sound and sometimes rolls, and "J" is silent or makes an english "H" sound
