GENERAL CONFERENCE IS THIS WEEKEND!! I'M SO PUMPED!!
Last Conference weekend a temple was announced in Queen Creek, my hometown, so I have high hopes for this conference!

Vamos nós preparar!!

How can we prepare for General Conference??

BEFORE: prayerfully seek and find specific personal questions, and write them down!

DURING: Take notes!! Not word for word, just inspiring phrases, specific words, and your personal impressions! Focus on what they say about Jesus Christ. There will be time to study indepth the talks afterward.

AFTER: Apply the messages to your life!! What was the overarching theme? What did each speaker try to teach you?

I promise as you prayerfully prepare to hear the words of the prophet, the apostles, and other authorities, you will be spiritually fed and impressions will come. The Spirit of God will testify to you hearts the truthfulness of every word spoken!

WEEK RECAP

Thrusday we were spiritually nourished by President and Sister Hunt and the APs learning about how "the basics done well become Excellent!!" Very rich Zone Conference!!

Friday I had a division with Elder Correa! He arrived with my son, Elder Silva, so it was fun to see how much he has learned in the past transfer and a half! It went really well and we saw many miracles, especialmente in the rain! Never stop working in the rain, there is always someone that you could help! (Plus your plaquet gets wet iykyk) also shout out to my best bud Elder Heston Casteñeda who turned 19! 

Monday: I finished the Book of Mormon again! It's true! 
Challenge: read the Book of Mormon starting today until June 30th!! 3 month Book of Mormon challenge, do it with me lets gooooo!!

The rest of the week was spent searching for the Lord's Elect!! 
I know that the more times I hear "não" the closer I get to the super elect "SIM"

Don't forget to wish my sister Presley a Happy 12th Bday today! (This is not an April Fools joke)
Also you can forget to wish my sister Daisy a Happy 18th Bday on the 3rd! Cuz who cares!

Whats up yalll!! So sorry for not sending an email last week, só much going on!! Maria Eduarda got baptized and we are so happy for her!! Otávio will be baptized this Sunday and he's super hyped!! Today we had the opportunity to hear from Elder Gary E. Stevenson, he spoke to only our mission! Including him, 5 General Authorities were there! He spoke on Being a Lifelong Disciple of Jesus Christ!! Using these three things:: 1. Prayer. Constant, Daily prayer 2. Reading the Scriptures, Daily 2. Holding a Current temple recommend and going to the Temple as often as your circumstances permit I invite you to do what Elder Stevenson told us to do!! Love you guys so much!!

Happy Mother's Day to all who bear the sacred title of Mother!! Especially to my wonderful Mother, who I love so dearly!!
