Hope y'all are doing well, sorry for the two week absence, its been busy!!

PENSAMENTO ESPIRITUAL

"Conversion is a process, not an event. Helping people become converted to Jesus Christ is central to your missionary purpose. As guided by the Spirit, you invite people to make commitments that will help them grow spiritually and feel the influence of the Holy Ghost in their lives. Then you support people in keeping the commitments they have made. You help them act in faith toward lasting change (see Mosiah 6:3). People who keep commitments before baptism are more likely to make and keep sacred covenants afterward. When you teach people to keep commitments, you are teaching them to keep covenants. Making and keeping covenants is an essential part of the gospel of Jesus Christ and God’s plan for His children."

Conversion starts through invitation. "Come, Follow Me" the Savior said. Through the example of Jesus Christ we are converted.

I invite each of you to do two things:
1. Read the lyrics to "Come, Follow Me" hynm number 116. 
2. Invite someone you know to come follow YOU to church or to an activity!

I promise you that through your faith you will see miracles!!

PAST TWO WEEKS RECAP

Two weeks ago I was transferred to Ala Ferreira in the Ferreira Zone!!

I entered leadership as a District Leader! My district is lit, full of the most consecrated missionaries I've ever met, they make my job easy

This week alone, we were able to mark 5 baptismal dates!! The power of an invitation is REAL. This only happened through exact obedience and lots of fasting, please pray for these five people and others that are also preparing to be baptized!!

Adriano, Zenaide, Alex, Luiz, Neil, 
Itzel, Erasmo, Ana Paula, and Gabriel!

Other than that just been grinding!! Love you all so much!!

I would love district council activity ideas! If you have any, shoot em my way!!

I first read the chapter out loud in English, listen to it in Portuguese, then read it out loud in Portuguese. I started to read out loud in English and I started choking up, because I felt the Spirit so strongly. Of course the chapter I was reading was 1 Nephi 16. This is the chapter where the Liahona is discovered, Nephi breaks his bow, Ishmael dies, contention arises, and the Lord intervenes. I Forgot What Week It Is, And I Don't Have Time To Look Lol

Whats up yalll!! So sorry for not sending an email last week, só much going on!! Maria Eduarda got baptized and we are so happy for her!! Otávio will be baptized this Sunday and he's super hyped!! Today we had the opportunity to hear from Elder Gary E. Stevenson, he spoke to only our mission! Including him, 5 General Authorities were there! He spoke on Being a Lifelong Disciple of Jesus Christ!! Using these three things:: 1. Prayer. Constant, Daily prayer 2. Reading the Scriptures, Daily 2. Holding a Current temple recommend and going to the Temple as often as your circumstances permit I invite you to do what Elder Stevenson told us to do!! Love you guys so much!!

Happy Mother's Day to all who bear the sacred title of Mother!! Especially to my wonderful Mother, who I love so dearly!! PENSAMENTO ESPIRITUAL  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mother dear, I love you so.  Your happy, smiling face  Is such a joy to look at;  It makes home a lovely place. Mother dear, I love you so.  Your lovely, shining eyes  Are just like stars that twinkle  Way up in the bright blue skies. Mother dear, I love you so.  I’ll try the whole day through  To please our Heav’nly Father.  I’m so glad he gave me you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is my favorite Mother's Day song, and I have been singing it in my head this whole week. I hope we all had an opportunity to celebrate the incredible sacrifices all of our mothers make to show us how much they love us. They have a divine role and purpose, and they are very good at it.
