Happy Father’s day to those who bear the title!

"I was taught somewhat in the learning of my father."
"I, knowing my father that he was a just man—for he taught me in his language, and also in the nurture and admonition of the Lord."
"For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth."

I love my father on Earth. (Os dois) and I am eternally grateful for the righteous examples I have been shown. I have learned much, and need to apply more of this learning in my life so that I can be half the man of the men I call father.

WEEKLY RECAP
Chill week, lots of elect, quality new people found!
Had the opportunity to give a talk on Sunday and the members loved it. (Topic: Obra Missionária, with a twist on living the Gospel) 
I used a crystal analogy and our dear friends don't know the differece between "reflect" and "refract" so I got flamed for that, apparently here its the same thing (its not).
Our guy André is on date for baptism for this week, he agreed to stop smoking and drinking na hora so thats dope and chill 
Mission Presidents last week so I'll have a final interview with him tmr 

the quick rundown. Its freezing.

I was able to talk to Mom, and figured out a good schedule so I could talk to my siblings and see how they're doing! After speaking with Mom, I opened my Book of Mormon/Livro de Mórmon side by side, and started reading as usual. I first read the chapter out loud in English, listen to it in Portuguese, then read it out loud in Portuguese. I started to read out loud in English and I started choking up, because I felt the Spirit so strongly. Of course the chapter I was reading was 1 Nephi 16. This is the chapter where the Liahona is discovered, Nephi breaks his bow, Ishmael dies, contention arises, and the Lord intervenes. Whats up yalll!! So sorry for not sending an email last week, só much going on!! Maria Eduarda got baptized and we are so happy for her!! Otávio will be baptized this Sunday and he's super hyped!! Today we had the opportunity to hear from Elder Gary E. Stevenson, he spoke to only our mission! Including him, 5 General Authorities were there! He spoke on Being a Lifelong Disciple of Jesus Christ!! Using these three things:: 1. Prayer. Constant, Daily prayer 2. Reading the Scriptures, Daily 2. Holding a Current temple recommend and going to the Temple as often as your circumstances permit I invite you to do what Elder Stevenson told us to do!! Love you guys so much!!

Happy Mother's Day to all who bear the sacred title of Mother!! Especially to my wonderful Mother, who I love so dearly!! PENSAMENTO ESPIRITUAL  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mother dear, I love you so.  Your happy, smiling face  Is such a joy to look at;  It makes home a lovely place. Mother dear, I love you so.  Your lovely, shining eyes  Are just like stars that twinkle  Way up in the bright blue skies.
