FÉ-RREIRA x3 - SEMANA CINQUENTA E QUATRO
Opa rapaziada!! Tudo na paz? Suave?
Wonderful week full of MILAGRES!!
PENSAMENTO ESPIRITUAL:
Matthew 7:7-11
7 ¶ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
I love these verses and the promise the Savior gives that when we pray, we will receive what we ask for! He won't give us the opposite of what we ask. Óbvio that if we ask for things such as patience, we will probably be provided with more situations to practice our patience. If we ask for something, let us be ready to receive it in the way the Lord sees fit to give it to us. Let us always be grateful. Pray always!
WEEK RECAP
- We helped our friend Lineker get bapped this week! He's 12 and he's awesome!! He even wrote us letters after his bappy! Translated letter: "I love you my best friends in the world ever, Lineker to Elder"
- we taught a lawyer about the Book of Mormon and he told us that he always believed that Jesus visited the Américas!
- Elder Hamann had his "Bye Bye Day" so I went and did a division in the area of Vertentes, which is the smallest area in our mission! We did a couple hours of média reference work on Vindeacristo.org which was interesting.
- Saturday was Festa Junina which is a really popular country festival! We got a ton of member references!
- Sunday we had a great Sacrament meeting, a few of our friends came for the first time and they stayed to watch Lineker's baptism!
- Our friend Caroline is preparing herself to be baptized this Sunday!
- Monday we went out with our friend Paulo who is leaving São Paulo to head to Piauí! Did a couple lessons with him, bros gonna be an amazing missionary here in a year and a half!
- Transfer news! I'm staying in Ferreira, continuing as District leader and we'll be in a trio for two weeks, we'll get Elder Santiago, from Ceará!
Hope yall had a great week and were able to recognize some miracles that happened this week!!
